The .hack series started out in the states as three separate parts. The first was an anime series dictating what happens to Aura before the game series. The second part is the game series and the LIMINALITY series that happens during the game time. The last part is the manga DUSK(or Legend of the Twilight Bracelet, but that's too long for me to type). An anime series based off the manga(but woefully worse than) was created later. As of now, there is an new game series known as GU comming for the PS2, as well as a novel called AI Buster.As for my favorite character, I'd have to say Mistral.

Shugo didn't control Kite in the games. Well my favorite characters are Haseo and Ovan of GU.

Well if you count the show I would go with Crim, for the game however I didn't get it yet but plan to some time in the next week, just have to finish off the game I'm in the middle of.

mine has to be blackrose ^.^ the .hack series is great and i cant wait for the new .hack game i saw on gamespot .hackgu or sumthing due out next year ^.^

Well, I'm glad I got this started...uh..I'd really have to say Piros or Sanjuro, Piros has the small head and HUGE body I know, and the boyish voice, but his HP is very high at a low level and he is a very helping support character, same w/ sanjuro, he just looks and sounds cooler lol
