I always go for the emeny mini-boss or boss.I play it like a 1 man solo the whole army of emeny lol!

Ppl dont choose pang tong!! hes one of the worst along with jiang wei, zhang jiao,and diao chan!The Best are Ma Chao, Lu Bu (of course) and my fovourite Gan Ning (but thats personal)

pang tong jiang wei diao chan are all great characters but I like zhou tei the most still and with him I can defeat anyone with ease including lu bu (by the way I hate lu bu) I like sima yi sun jian sun ce zang fei and gan ning(I heard u can get animals as bodygaurds on dynasty warriors 5 but I havn't come across any is it a lie?)

wow im surprised no one has said gan ning yet, with his giant sword and speedy musou the only thing i hated about him was his new yorker voice over

Dynasty Warriors 5 has better graphics and the new characters rock the house. Even though I hate Guan Ping he's pretty good as well. Now all they need to add is Yuan Shu with a morning star and a kick donkey moveset good enough to kill 1,000+ troops every level on chaos mode and I'll be satisfied. Oh and Yuan Shu's general Ji Ling with his trident sword would rock as well.

dynasty warriors 5 rocks, with it's better graphics, a wide variety of characters, i'd say this was thw best one yet!

Yeah but I hate how on hard or chaos mode your allies get defeated quickly. The level should be hard but it should be hard on you and you should not have to constantly be worried about losing a ton of morale instantly and losing the battle. In that regard I liked Dynasty Warriors 3's morale system better. Also Dynasty Warriors 3 was very fun although 5 is great as well and probably better. Although there did seem to be too much repetitiveness & not enough levels+Dynasty Warriors 5 did not include a versus mode. >_<(Dynasty Warriors 5: XL though will have 4 new modes, including the ability to create & play as created warriors in "Destiny Mode" & 18 new levels that only certain characters can play as.)

Ma Chao is my favorite, but Lu Bu is good too... However, how come he's so hard to unlock in 3, but so easy to unlock in 4...???

I think youre talking about Zhou Yu.The series is a lot of fun, but theres barely any reason to own more than one of these games if you have 3 or above. There are some changes, but you'll find that the amount of time it takes to get bored of another dynasty warriors game will be about a fifth of how long it took to get bored of the previous one.my best char is the dude with long hair and a long sword. he sorta looks like a girl..but hes my best char.

Yeah, the Dynasty Warriors Series is pretty good. I just got the fifth one. It has 48 characters now and each of them have individual endings to unlock!!!!!!!!!!!!!

yeah ive played dynasty warriors 2 and 3 and i own 4 hoping to get 5 there awesome games my fav team would be the green team then red and my fav character would have to be Guan Yu

I heard of DW , its a type of Beat'em Up game. I have Xtreme Legends : Dynasty Warriors 4 JPN version . I liked it a bit but should I get DW5. Also I have Xtreme Legends : Samurai Warriors is this the same as DW ?

Dynasty Warriors games are great, as well as Romance of the Three Kingdoms ones. My personal favorite is Guan Yu.

dynasty is really good and has good graphics. i wish i owned the series.
