i just check the box, if it has alright graphics and a good storyline i'll buy it. also doing research helps too (internet, magazines, etc.)

Well, the games I look at, I am most likely already familier with. If it's new, I check it out to the max and see if it's worth my money. Which it is usually, I'm not that picky lol

I choose what I think looks like the best rpg.... and if the screens look lame I don't get it.....I like to try games out myself without trusting reviews......

I normaly only download games when I hear lots of people talking about them like allot of people talk about FireEmblem and Harvest Moon.... I know that there going to be good because no one ever mentions bad games except I have to say that the new dragonball GT is realy disappointing Its like an old nes game...

I like any games if it is the series I like,such as Dragonball Z,Kirby,Sonic the hedgehog,Kingdom Hearts,Mario,and some,SOME rnadom games.

hmm either i buy em.... steal em from the internet... from someones house... or i just get a game for free from friends or people i know stolen or as a gift... haha mostly i steal em.......... thats how i get most my stuff anyway

If their from Metroid, Sonic, Harvest Moon, or Resident Evil I will get it no doubt. But I check around for screenshots and reviews on gamefaqs and in GI for other games. If its a online game I might or might not get it, depending on graphics and pay amount*I love WoW!*

I usually rent the games and if I really liked it I'd buy the original, if I kind of liked it I'd burn it (probably only burnt 3). If I didn't like it, I'd go back the very minute I rented it and get a refund.

I look at, but don't take much stock in, magazine reviews, because it's all opinion, anyways. Same way with user reviews over at GameFAQs, all opinion. I'll look at the previews, and if they interest me enough, I'll attempt to find a demo and try it out for myself, if that passes the test, I'll fork over the dough.

I look at the images, and the type the name of the game in www.gamerankings.com, to see how they scored, and see more screen shots.

I usually pick my games from renting or if its form a series i like.... I have played games with a bad rating that i thouroughly enjoyed.
