"A boy has the right to dream. There are endless possibilities stretched out before him. What awaits him down the path, he will then have to choose. The boy doesn't always know. At some point, the boy then becomes an adult, and learns what he was able to become. Joy and sadness forever will accompany this. He is confronted with a choice. When this happens, does he bid his past farewell in his heart? Once a boy becomes an adult, he can no longer go back to being a boy. The boy is now a man. Only one thing can be said. A boy has the right to dream. For those endless possibilities are stretched out before him. We must remember. All men were once boys."

I sometimes choose games in a series just because of their reputations as being great games (i.e. MGS and Final Fantasy). Any others, I look at reviews in magazines and on TV and I base my judgement off of them.

I generally follow my personal instinct when buying a game. However, I would base by feeling on the screenshots of the games as well as the basic story, but not on the opinion of others.

1) You look at the previews on the net, screanshots and trailers at a title2) If you have already a game which is a "series" then get the next game of the same title like Zelda, Castlevania, Fire Emblem, Tekken, Soul Calibur, Final Fantasy ect.3) If you don't have any idea of games then get whatever new out and check, or presume to by suggested games by somebody, try out with a Zelda game for a good start then continue to other selections of games

I go for the 'hmmm.. this is interesting" THEN I read a review on it. but I usually try the game anyway as I don't like reviews because another person's perception of a game may not be yours

If I am on dgemu, then i go to screenshots. Most of the time, it'd either have a battle picture, or a picture on the world map. I see the battle system and think about it more. Graphics are a bit less on my priority list.

Working on Knights in the Nightmare. Going to get around to Rondo of Swords. Hoping to find inspiration for Etrian.

I wait about a day to a week then read the reviews of the game that I'm looking at. If its good then I buy it and if its not then I dont. But for some games that I know is good(or at least to me it is) then I just buy it.

I basiclly go on for the good stories and not for the graphics.Example: Star Fox Assault 50.00 passed in 1 day Tales of Symphonia 15.00 passed in... I haven't even passed disc one.
