Fire emblem series for the great artwork even though the straightforward gameplay isn't as appealing to me I still find it a great game. The "Tales of" series also is very fun and great to look at.

dbz RPG was really amazing. oh, and just throwing this out there, the lupin game on PS2 was crappy. in my opinion. but the SNES one is fun. Oh! the cyborg 009 game on snes was pretty sweet too.

i like the bleach blade battlers 2nd game and the whole naruto fighting games like the latest shippuuden accel 2.i only buy them in japanese if its a fighting game though...rpgs in japs kinda make me sad...much like the dirge of cerberus game for japan...i got so excited...i finished it but not really enjoy the story...
