kanto starters are the best in their final forms they look the strongest. charizard, venesaur and blastoise are big and great pokemon, who look awesome and have super strenght.personally I think johto starters are the least cool but that depends on the gyms in johto I think. and blaziken and sceptile are pretty cool to but I don't like swampert.

Well, I'd have to say Jhoto....because of tototdile....
i love him!

i think johto's strters are the best! i still like totodile than any new starters. heheh.

i think torchic is the best beacuse when it evolves to a blaziken it can beat any pokemon if it is at lvl 70 which is kinda hard to get

i think the johto region is the best for starters cause you can go to both regions but they need to make a game with all the four regions

Kanto starters are the best, appearance wise and strength wise. They get the 3 ultimate moves too.

i like Charmander cuz hes the best fire type and plus im a pyro so i love almost any fire Pokemon but Charmander is the best

Torchic for the Ruby/Saph , Charmander for the older ones. IMO Fire type is the strongest, besides the fact that they look good.

bulbasaur is most easy for training and i like charmander but is harder in 3 gym, grass starter pokemon are the best

I don't know why, i always use water-pokemon type as starters...i even took pochama in Diamond...they're not specially good, but in fact, even is i use mudkip or squirtle, i switch to another pokemon later in the game (generally Dragon-type)....but i recognize that fire elemental pokemon are good (but avoid them in Ruby/Sapphire, where you need to cross a lot of seas...) and grass pokemon average....they have good stats and they're fun to play.

I guess the best place to start is near the safari zone XDcan get more pokemons before setting off, heh heh
