Torchic. Its type is the best for elite four. Fighting good against dark, rock and steel. Fire good on ice, grass and steel. Also double kick is good on roxanne and peck is good for brawly

torchic. there are no good fire pokemon (i think someone already said this)however i will use treeko for the challenge

tsh i prefer treeko for challenge and mad skills like leaf something and torchic for owning, if you have trouble get codes and get all the starters or just trade.

Mudkip is the best starter since it's good against the first few gym leaders. but i still like treeko over mudkip since treeko's 3rd evolution the sceptile look really cool for me.

Go for treeko because it evolves into sceptile, which is a fast grass type, a rare and valuable combo. Torchic--> Blaziken's fire/fighting dual type, however, helps a lot in the elite 4.

i dun think that mudkip is the "best" cause i raised it and the last atk if earthquake if im not wrong... the ap is onli 10 but powerful whearest the blaziken has powerful atk and the ap is quite enough for the whole elite four.. sometimes u juz have to use blaziken to win the elite four.. and sceptile has the leaf blade it is some sort of like a slash with a high rate of crit so.. its up to u whose the best i show u some of the tip for every starter

well when ever i play with my friends i usually get mudkip, because we play like 2 on 2 every time, and i use surf and muddy water on them lol

I'd say Mudkip since one of the first gym leaders you have to fight uses Rock type pokemon. If you can get your Mudkip to learn a water type by the time you meet her then you have an advantage. Also if you get it to evolve into it's final form it's gonna be a Water/Ground type. Which comes in handy since it wont be affected by a water type pokemon's major weakness, electricity. However since it's also a ground type, grass type move can really hurt you. But then again all of the starters have their strenghts and weaknesses but Mudkip is still the best in my opinion.
