I went with Charmander. Sure, Charizard has many weaknesses, but it also has a good movepool and makes a good mixed sweeper.

On Sapphire, choose Mudkip, on Ruby, choose Blaziken.Why? Depending on your game, the trainers will sometimes change. In ruby, fire seems to be the big theme. In sapphire, water seems to be the theme.

i'd say squirtle cause blastoise looks awesome, and cause he ends up with good endurance

yea probably bulbasaur b/c he does beat the first three easily and he has awesome attacks.i like torchik but i dont no if itd be the bestPlease state a reason for your choice.

Charmander is what I think the best starter Pokemon. He by far when evolved into a Charazard(sp) is the strongest Pokemon.

Ah, Crystal, good times.I chose Cyndaquil for two reasons:1. I prefer Fire over Water and Grass.2. Typhlosion's design was really sweet.

Whenever I started the game again, I switched from Cyndaquil and Totodile.I didn't like Chikorita.

I will chose cyndaquil because its a fire type pokemon and fire type pokemon are my favourite.
