it is and will remain charmender as it evove into charizard which can be compared to a dragon pokemon and it has very powerfull SP. ATTACK it is able to hyper beam

charmander and torchic are both good starters and can win alot of the gym battles.

bulbasaur because you could easily take out the first 2 gym leaders in red/blue version quite quickly

Charmander or Torchic only because they become stronger pokemon later on. But if you want instant power you should go with either water or grass element.

charmender is coll surely bbut i think cyndaquil becomes moer powerful than charizrd when it evolves into typhlosion as its attack in newer version are super great (it has eruption)

charmander all the way from scratch to flamethrower i just love the fire type and if i haveta level up 20 or more leves to beat a water i'll do that instead of using other type hell yea

I like charmander because he makes the game difficult. Difficult = fun for the same reason Gameshark = Not that much fun.

i would say torchic. blaziken is very strong and there arent many decent fire types on the r/s/e games

usually cyndaquil, sometimes totodile because their evolutions are good. Chikorita is pretty weak, especially first gyms

I chose Chikorita the first time around, and did okay with her. But Totodile is where it's at. I love both types of poke'mon, but the move Bite is unrivaled.

I used to use Totoile but got bored so tried Cyndaquil and stuck with it, only problem was my game glitched and I lost my 100% win record and complete pokedex...

my very first one was totodile his normal attacks are very strong combined with his slash and his high defence , his semi invincible.
