I will choose piplup, the water pokemon that looks like a penguin. Because it can use ice type attacks against grass pokemon and water type attacks against fire pokemon.I wanted to know which is the best first pokemon.......I gone paly and i wanted a help...

I'd choose the turtle, it's a grass/ground combo. The others are good too.Here's their final form's english names...Torterra - grass/groundMonferno - fire/fightingEmpoleon - water/steelI've heard for one of the twists is that you have two rivals, the one who helps you picks the weaker one of what you picked, and the enemy based rival chooses the stronger of what you picked.

the fire pokemon always end up making the game harder but it may make it eaiser in this new game but id go with the penguin

You do have 2 rivals, one gets weaker and the other stronger, so all of the starters go. I would ge Chimchar becasue of Monferno's maximum stats, they are about 300 higher than the Torterra and Empoleon.

Theoritcally, the best starter would be either Piplup or Turtwig, considering the first gym leader will have rock and ground types.In my opinion, Piplup is the best. ^^ Yayz for penguins!

The grass turtle is the best. But the 3rd evolve form looks so stupid though. It has pretty awesome moves. :rolleyes:I would choose the turtle. It has really good moves. But the third form is ugly.
