I like the pokemon from crystal version the most. Suicune Espeon and Umbreon are some of my best ones.

definately the grass type for looks but im a pryo by heart so the fire type is my choice

I think Hikozaru is. Has the best stats and is the most helpful pokemon.

the GBC era games were nice and the FR/LG versions were a nice remake of the original games now if only they create the G/S/C versions on the GBA or DS...

um questioni heard... from the USA Diamond and PearlFire=ChimcharWater=Pinpulp(or sumthing.....)Grass=Turtwigoverallyou have 2 rivals nowif you choose the water...one will choose the grassand one will choose fire

The best starter pokemon for me is torchic since his moves are fire type and fighting type.

i think turtwig(english name) would be the best one with the evolution into a grass ground type.

I wanted to know which is the best first pokemon.......I gone paly and i wanted a help...

During The time you travel Treeko Which evolves into Grovile and Sceptile is the Best But not that it is almost usless when you fight against salamance but if manage to beat salamance the Treeko will be the best But I Recomend Mashrop The water tipe Pokemon

I think all the starters look crazy, probably jus cause they're new to me..... but i think ima pick the fire monkey!! hes ballin :( and he looks the sweetest i think

Hikozaru I HAVE ALWAYS CHOSEN FIRE I know it is hard to start but fire always have fight moves when they are like level +35 so i am happy

Chimchar is the best, because later in the game, he learns Close Combat, which can usually take out the other pokémon instantly.Thats who I chose.

First starter I ever used was Bulbasaur, and i have yet to find another starter i prefer. Just so practical, especially the leech seed toxic double team combo

you gotta like the fact that squirtle learns an alemental move at early levels that can kill of the first gym leader.
