charmander is the best cos it's really strong in the beginning.. easy to train at the start..

Whichever one was the fire one from the games was always the one I picked, but my favorite out of the fire starters was Charmander. My favorite starter from the entire series, though, was Pikachu from Yellow. I loved it.

Best starting pokemon was ...all of them i got all of them for gold nd silver nd blue nd red, it waseasier that way lol

i think charmander but when i get to viridian forest in red/blue/leafgreen/firered i just catch a caterpie and lvl it up to butterfree so it has confusion whch helps against brock and if im play blue or leaf green i cach a pikachu and use that for misty

charmander will always be my fav beginner. bulbasaur was pretty gangstar too. charmeleon was like the gangsterist pokemon i've seen yet. he just looks the part. charizard ownz all pokemon imo, so charmander = obvious choice.

WATER TYPES ARE THE BEST...ESPECIALLY IN TERMS OF HP,DEFENSE,SPXAL. DEFENSE...1st gen.-any of the three...2nd gen.-totodile...3rd gen.-mudkip4thgen.-turtwig or piplup...

for me i cant decide who to choose out of the grass pokemon but as i have to it would be bulbasaur as in leaf green he learns sleep powder at lvl 16, making it easyer to kill the trainers in my path.

The original Kanto and Johto starters are by far the best, then Hoenn then Sinnoh. IMO the general pokemon designs are getting worse with the generations, by a few really great pokemon in the later generations.

i believe that the best starter is da monkey on diamond/pearl coz wen he is Infernape he is good and owns the first elite 4 guy
