favourite starter is charmander but bulbasaur is easiest becuase of its, stength against rock and water which are both reasonably early gyms if i remember correctly

I like the Fire pokemons, because you can get rid of those pesky Ice pokemons. My choice would be Cyndaquil, as it is no mixed type as the other two fires. Mudkip is another good starter as he is resistant to Electricity, but he is 4x weak to grass.
