I've always loved starting with charmander because when I level it up all the way I can usually take out any pokemon with one hit of any of my moves.

Charmander has always been the best starter in the games. No cheesy gimmicks with a fire type, just enough straight out attack power to kill anything you may encounter.

it has to be charmander cause it can learn blast burn, and it evolves into charizard with wind attack

Squirtle b/c grass pkmn dont really hurt water like fire does to grass. It's just how it is. I have no idea how grass can hurt water that much. :wallbash: ...so yeaa. Blastoise is one of the best pkmn i have ever handled in the game so far. I dont know why but i always think blastoise can kick venasaurs *** anyday!!!!!!!!!!

The fire types al the way, but i cant decide wich :( :( :( Charmander cus its cut, its man powerful wen it evovles to charizard,and it can learn blast burn and heat wave :wallbash: <_< :) Cyndiquil cus its cute,its also powerful wen it becomes thyphlosion(dun tink i spelled it right), and i love its flame wheel. :D Its cool :wallbash: Torchick cus its cute,its super powerful wen it evolves to a blaziken,its a fightn pokemon 2,and it looks man cool. :) :) :)MOD edit

CHARMANDER ALL THE WAY!hes the only fire type besides ho-oh to resist earthquack once he evolves, blaziken is pretty good but a charizard could beat it :wallbash:

pkmn R/B/Y------------->charmander(pure attk roxx)pkmn G/S--------------->cyndaquil(own so mani gyms and elite 4 too)pkmn ruby/ sapphire--->mudkip(water and ground type roxx...onli grass is super effective against u)

I really like them all, unlike in the other games, where it was really obvious which one to get. But, right now it's between Pochama and Hikozaru. I might pick Naetoru if my brother gets Pochama.

How come? Kozaru's the worst.Get Naetoru. Pocchama is fine, too.

i think it would be the grass guy (turns into grass/ground)i dont kno its name but ive seen its move pooland what it learns is pretty strong ...the blue peguin looking guy is quite ok... (turns into water/steel)i dont like the fire guy ... (turns into fire/fighting)

Personally I like the fire type of Pokemon (i'm a bit of a pyro myself) but somtimes I will pick another if I get another of the game because I don't want to have 2 of the same starter. So my overall choice is Fire then Water and then Grass types

I think that the best is naetoru because it's type helps a lot but personaly i will choose the hikozaru

I think Totodile's the best, because it's evolutions are really strong and it's not at a disadvantage early on in the game. Plus for me it levelled up really quickly.

Like most people I always choose the fire pokemon, no matter what the version. I'm not sure what it is but they always seem to be the most popular
