well, I like FFIX as well, I don't see whats wrong with it that so many people say its lame/bad

I love all the Final Fantasy's. They each have their own unique stories. I don't know why people don't like them, maybe because people don't have patience anymore.

Iīm not tired though Iīm not going to buy FF:s anymore. 1-10 were good in the series but when 10-2 things started to go bad. FF:s shouldnīt have sequels like AC or 10-2 that has been main rule in the series but now those square bastards are only greedy.

they are not bad games but not so top notchs-e should try and create new franchise (or better, forget the franchise routine) instead of wearing them off till they lastrudras treasure, bahamut lagoon, chrono trigger, etc are great games to sequel if they dont want to create "new" games from the beginning

Some of the older ones were alright, but the PS2 ones fail so hard. :| My favourite is Tactics and always will be, for the rather unconventional (in the FF world, anyway) storyline. There are a lot of better games, anyway.

you cant talk about the series like that because they are different games duh! its like comparing a random set of rpgs (btw the ff series pretty much kicks the donkey of all other series' and i dare anyone to flame me......)

All of them are unique and FFX was the best. FFX-2 wasn't what i was expecting though... Anyone else think FFXII is going to be the game of the year?

FFI-FFX solid gold FFX-2 -> SUCKS yeah they should sotp leeching money out of final fantasy series or it might be rembered as the series that first ruled and then sucked hard. They fired many of the original makers and some of them left by them self so the new "Final Fantasys" ain't even Final Fantasys to me...

me, myself and i willl never get tired of the FF series... as far as roman numerals go i can count to 500 yay!

my friends , final fantasy will be the king of the Rpg's Forever, if final fantasy hadn't exist , the whole world of the rpg's will be quite diferent, for bad i think, and for me at least the final fantasy series is always fun, deep, awesome etc. etc. so, can someone get tired of that?

I hate every single FF games except for two.FF Tactics and FFT Advanced. :)And as soon as 12 comes out, I am going to buy it(Just because its based off of Tactics), play it for a while, then sell it to a friend.

The FF Series are the best games.. on consoles so far.. for me! so i don't think they'll ever bore me! These games are great! And other games from SQ Soft are good also!

true but also the final fantasy is a true sags of SE. ff is one of the only game that will travel with the playstation no matter how far it goes (ex. ps3, ps4, ps5, ps6, ps7...).I feel as though you guys are thinking too narrowly on this subject. A game is not only played because of the fun value of it. From the begining of the entire series, one had to look deeper than face value. Each game possesses something that can only been seen by really paying attention to the dialogue and animations, and with each game, all of these things have improved more and more, to the point that now there are such realistic animations and enough space on the discs to make flesh out more than just the main character. Many characters are able to be seen to draw an emotional feeling. I think you all are looking to narrowly at this. Plus, a certain degree of difficulty can be added to the game for those who find it too easy.
