Has to be Squall. He's really cool and fighting with him is the best. Always hit a critical hit just by pressing R1. And he has a deadly special Lion Heart and also Blasting Zone. You should play it to see them

Depend of what you mean by "strong".If by pure physical attack, I think Cloud, because he always do a incredible great deal of dammage and have very strong limits.If you look at how strong willed a characted can be I guess it would be Auron because he look very professional and sure of himself.If you mean how quickly someone can grow stronger I guess Tidus, because he don't know how to hold a sword in the begining of the game and looks ridiculously out of place, and eventually become a great varrior in a few hours.

On the subject of Cloud: He's a PANZY!! A schizophrenic panzy. 'Ooo, I'm so cool, I've got spiky hair and a big sword, oOo.' And yet at the first sign of Sephiroth what does he do? He loses his mind and goes crazy. Which is not even touching on the fact that he's a crossdresser.On the subject of Sephiroth: First of all, if he's got a sword that big, he's clearly compensating for something. And beyond that he's got an Oedipus complex the size of New Jersey. You wanna talk about failing at life in general. My suspicion is that Sephiroth Cloud and Vincent are a gay love triangle.As for the other four on the list (Squall, Tidus, Auron and Seymour), well, they just don't quite make the cut for strongest. With the exception of Tidus, they do wind up in places high on the list, but they don't land at the top.The strongest MALE character in all of Final Fantasy: T.G. Cid, from Tactics. He was the character that broke the game. Time needed to obtain Cid in Tactics: ~10 Hours. Time needed to finish the game once you get him: ~2 hours. Which is funny, 'cause you pick him up only a little after the halfway point.As for the strongest character PERIOD in all of Final Fantasy: Any Female character from Tactics equipped with Ribbon + Chantage. For those of you who don't know, (Which I'm guessing is more than a few from all the FFVII fanboys I've seen posting) Chantage gives a character Regen + Auto-Life. PERMANENTLY. Ergo, anytime said character is killed, said character immediately resurrects. And with Ribbon, which most of you should know, said character is immune to ALL status effects, including Petrification. Such a character, quite simply, CANNOT be killed.BTW: FFVII is nowhere near as good as you think it is. frickin fanboys/girls
