I wanted to try the touching screen and check by myself how it worked. Nintendo really have great ideas for their consoles and games, the touch screen system is awesome.

Honestly, i bought one because i loved the gba so much i knew the ds would rock hardwhen i heard about the DS i tried to learn as little as i could about the consoles and games that were gonna be on it just to get surprised by it all when i'd buy one. Was so awesome, i have no regrets at all, i bought the lite when it came out too, two DSs now woot woot :biggrin2:

I bought mine to play NDS games, doh. Seriously, by that time there was no DS emulator, so I thought: "the only way to play DS games will be to buy the thing... darn". Then, I bought one, and a slot-2 storage device (M3), flashed the flashme bios, and voilá: playing homebrews & mp3 in no time. But I still will buy the games I really like... Even though I still d/l them to test...

Lately I use it mainly to play old NES games with pocketNES, but I also play the original DS game now and then (is currently playing New Super Mario Bros.). I also can't wait for the NA release of Front Mission 1st, if it ever comes out.

i wanted something to play between classes. the regular ds was ugly and not that many great games were out at first. but once the ds lite came out, more gaming companies made games worth getting. and the price isnt so bad.

3 reasons1. The touch screen, sure it was a gimmick but it worked well didn't it? Sometimes.....2. Had a little dealio with a friend, he paid 1/3 of the monies and got to keep it at home etc etc, I kept it during school and whenever else I want and once i turn 18 it's mine!. My parents wouldn't allow me to have one so I did this. Not a bad deal, since he pays the same for the games and the DS is still going strong.3. New Zelda. It'll be here soon =D

the GBA games were getting boring, and the flash card for GBA cost too much.
