I got a DS lite, it was sleek it was appealing and I wanted some portable fun.

why buy a ds? free wifi connection, play ur friends at ur own home, buy a rom kart and save ur backups, AND its portable...no more sitting at the doctors doing nothing =]

I'm gonna get one at the weekend -- glad to know that people like themI bought a DS because my GBA was dying. Most of the buttons on it wouldn't work anymore or only worked half the time, so I decided to spend some extra money and get a DS instead of a SP. The thought of a new Advance Wars, Fire Emblem and Zelda also helped me decide to get a DS instead of the PSP.

I bought a DS at launch because I thought the Super Mario 64 game and the Sims game would be really good.

I bought my ds cause I´m living in japan and everybody has it.actually i got it yesterday 2007 may and I had to wait for a week cause it was sold outI'm curious as to why you all bought a DS, please be specificas to what made you buy it.

I bought mine so that I could play the Castlevania games. That is the only reason. I kept it because I can still play my old gba games on it. Now I am into pokemon pearl.

I found there was no good games at all for psp so i sold that and found out theres tons of fun games for ds, its weird how sony is releasing games with 'better graphics" but they same all to be much less enjoyable
