I bought the DS for my son because he love the Pokemon games.What really made me go ahead and get it was these free game rom.Gotta love them.

I bought it because when i first had it I sold it for a PSP... but then as soon as I sold it The game I wanted came out.. so i saved again, got the DS, and got the game (Advance Wars DS.. Dual Strike) It was awsome. lol. I got more games too, but the main reason was that.. and so I could play my GBA games too.

all my friends got it and they pressured me into buying it so we can all play multiplayer games, good decision too, it's fun as hell.

The touch screen, duh. I definately like the touch screen because it's nice for pretending to do work in class when you're really just Pictochatting it up with your friend accross the room. Definately my favorite feature and the reason I bought MY DS.

my SP sucked, couldn't charge, and i had some cash on hand, found some of the games nice, and decided to buy it lolzI'm curious as to why you all bought a DS, please be specificas to what made you buy it.

I bought a DS because I believe it was a mile stone in gaming becaseu of its innovatve features. I believe that interactivity makes games more appealing and accessible to people who cant connect with games. It is also a good learning, hands on tool I believe with all of the language translators and brain games available for it. I believe that the DS shows more promise in the direction all video games will be taking for the next decade.
