I bought first a Ds for my daughter because she didn't have any videogame... And now I bought a new one for her sister and again a new one for me...! The Ds is so amazing and funny !I'm curious as to why you all bought a DS, please be specificas to what made you buy it.

I bought a DS so that I could play more rpgs!I started out with magical starsign, Final fantasy III and Mario and Luigi: Partners in time.I also wanted a system that was portible. All I had previously was a PS2.

First, I was really interested by the touch-screen ! Eventually, I bought 2 of them when I discover the WiFi capabilities and the extremely high WAF ! :aww:

I preferd my GBA so I never wanted the SP. But when the DS came out I imediatly had to buy one. Good for me, money was no problem since I saved it on the SP. Hopefully the next design will also have a touchpad, because I love it.!!

I brought it because then I wouldn't have to sit at the computer to play NDS games all the time now! It also looks better on the real NDS than on the computer screen.

Because all of my friends had got it and I was starting to feel left out . Well I did get it a year late but it was still great. I remember watching my friend play mario kart on it and I was like OMG when I saw the graphics for that cake level.

I bought it due to the many many games that are only playable on the DS which includes Pokemon Pearl/Diamond, New Super MarioAnother reason is because of its touch screen function which I feel is so innovative and makes Elite Beat Agent and such games such gems...

I bought my original phat DS for the unique touch system. Got my Lite for the better screens and the much better design.

haha i buy ds becos i got a creative zen vision W, that solve my mp3 and mp4 problem liao now left game to play.. and i support nintendo all the long, from 1st gen gameboy till gba sp already, might as well support till the end, but i nv buy DS cos it is too big and DSlite came out then i also wan to play some game like pokemon and cute game so DS lite suit me well.. haha and i got some fren buy together so also buy and play

Mostly to play homebrew and use homebrew emulators. The touchscreen is the best solution for a keyboard for retro computer emus.

i bought a DS because i have GBA games, and there were a bunch of DS games that i wanted i think DS is better than PSP in the games but PSP is better cause it has Internet and all thatbut i dont buy a handheld gaming system to listen to music and watch DVD's i get it to play games

For two games mainly, Final Fantasy III and Pokemon perl. I also thought about Animal crossing, but mainly for a select few games.
