To be honest i brought my nds for ff3 and pokemon pearl and diamond, also brought it so i could play gba games and ds games

I bought DS because you can play both DS and GBA games on it and its convienent for me!

I didn't buy the DS until the DSLite came out mainly because I hated how the DSPhat outside looked... but I bought it cause nintendo has not yet dissapointed me for a handheld system.

well i didnt buy i got it as a gift. but i wanted it because the two screens looked pretty cool. also becuase i love nintendo prodcuts

I've been saving for a DS since it first came out. The biggest reason though has to be Nintendogs... I've only just got mine though. But it's all good. It's like my third life. Second being online and first being real life

Because it's the best portable gaming system out there, of course! As much as I loved my old GBA, it's hard to ignore the great library of games that the DS is creating and Wi-Fi is fun regardless of the friend code limitation.

The reason I bought a ds is because I love its unique touch control, wi-fi capability and game library which has never been so diverse for a handheld from games such as Phoenix Wright, Jump! Ultimate Stars, Mario games and Advance Wars and the many or so others that are out there. Also for the fact that I needed an update from my gba advance (not sp!) and since the ds can also play all my gba games as well that means you already start off with a great library of games before you even buy any new ones!.

bought one because the DS is toooooo cool, what with the touch screen and fun games and all.. (you don't see many "minigames" modes for PSPs and the like..) it's sheer fun without being too serious AND, i'm a girl. i love pink. and those geniuses at nintendo came up with a pink gaming console 
it's hella cute AND it's fun..... and definitely too fab for me to NOT own one.

o bought because i saw my brothers DS, but i wanted to experiment adding an OS to use touchpad and wifi as a small computer, so i bought a used one, and a slot1 m3 card, then just matter of time to get what i wanted.

Well one day me mom came home with a Gamestop bag containing two DSs cuz my sister wanted one so my mom figured I should have one as well =D
