when the DS was first released, I thought it was cool, but was not super interested. not many games and very few rpgs for it. however, when final fantasy III was announced for the DS, I knew I had to get it (for those who don't know, FFIII is one of my top 3 FFs ever). I bought it the same day my FFIII came in, and because it has a broken pixel, it was about $100. my friend, who had a ds at release, had some game he let me play, and i regretted getting the DS sooner because of them (Wario Ware, MMZX, Kirby, New SMB, and others)

basically the same reason and i can't live with going to 3 hour dinners with only GBA and 2 gamesBecause i am a huge fan of nintendo and thy have super games !!

I bought my DS becoz im a big fan of nintendo, i have every single console nintendo has ever made include the original nintendo entertainment system. Another reason i bought my ds was because my wii was getting lonely. lol

It seems the most common reason for buying a DS is the touch screens. People seem to like when you can interact more.

I had really problems to decide between a gba sp or a ds lite. I knew the gba sp was better to play with then the orginal gameboy advance, but when i saw NSMB for the first time i decided to buy the ds lite version, white! ^^
