I have always been a fan of handheld systems since gameboy.I couldn't get gamegear or GBA or Gameboy color or Wonderswan or those past things.(because my parents didn't want to buy one for me)so, as when de DS came out I was working, I was the solely person to decide if it will be bought to me or not.so obviously, I did.PSP didn't called my attention, and still doesn't.although, I might buy it, juts for some games that haven't come out in NDS

Because of all the great games, unlike the Wii. Plus it's compatible with my GBA games. (One minus though was that I could not play my GB and GBC games)I wanted to get a regular DS, because I thought the DS Lite was hyped, but when I got one for christmas, it was great!

there's just so many games available - n all diff types as well! when i'm bored, i can just flip out my ds n switch on a game. or if i'm waiting for da tram to go to skool, i dun hav to wait around idly. a ds is perfect if ur not those hardcore gaming types n just love an occasional game or two to pass da time. i love da double screen!!! :gs:

i bought a ds bcos i am a fan of nintendo n wanted to get a handheld game console. a ds looks awesome esp da dual screens wif 1 of them being a touch screen. i like how its not all intense gaming for ds, unlike psp so its mor suited for gurls who aren't hardcore gamers.

I bought it since my brother had a gameboy sp and I really wanted a game system. Since the NDS just came out, I was allowed to get it.

I got it because all my friends had them and I wanted to play with them. We played during school sometimes too, in the back of the class. Oh, those were the days.

i bought a ds because i thought i had enough money for a psp, but didn't and got a ds instead, which i eventually liked and forgot the psp. Major ds fan since, i like its unique functions, and after showing it to a few of my friends, they've all gone and bought one too. now there's more people with ds than psp in my classes an i like to think its because of me (i had the guts to play in all my classes during year ten and not do my work, and then own the angry kids who studied hard in exams hehehehe sweet irony)

Once again, my brother bought the DS. And after I found out it had the best games on it and could play GBA games too with a bright lit screen.

I was scratching my head comparing DS and PSP, which one would I buy? DS has its own good, I can maximize the playing experience by using the touch-screen feature but on the other hand, PSP provides way better graphic therefore providing a better gaming experience as well. I couldn't made up my mind until I got the news that DS will be remaking Chrono Trigger and that's what got me into buying my DS and I didn't regret one bit even though the graphics aren't that great compared to the PSP. Am totally loving DS's gameplay especially the Phantom of Hourglass where even the mic can be used as part of the game. That's my reason for purchasing my DS. :D

It was either a PSP or a DS back then - but I chose the DS because of the touch screen and dual screen feature. XD
