i bought my ds because i was getting pored of the emulators for nds since they were slow and the one i use the most was getting glitchy(keeps closing while i play)

what made me buy a ds was when it was just a brand new system and it had a lot of new games and functions that came with it i liked it and bought it also i had some friends that talked me into buying it by saying come on its awsome we can all connect and play together

My reson for byng is beacuse i tried to save up my money to buy all the handheld consoles so i got one before everone else could ask there parents if they could get one. i liked to be the first person to get something (not to brag), but to show them if they liked it or not. i think the first games i got on it where ninendogs and dbz supersonic warriors 2.I serieousl didnt know it had a touch screen until 2 days after i had bought it, i felt like a idiot....

I got my DS to play the Pokemon games. After it came out, I just knew that the Pokemon games were gonna be on it instead of the GBA.

I just wanted a handheld console for when I was on the road.My boyfriend and I live far away from eachother and it takes about 2,5 hours to get to him by public transport.Soooo.... in 2,5 hours you get quite bored :PBut I doubted between the DS and the PSP at first....The advantages of a PSP were: better graphics, some better games...Negative things about the PSP were: quite big to carry around... those gamecards are huge

i bought my ds so that everyone in the house can have something to play on. Adults can have there games and the kids there's.

I'm pretty sure I simply bought it because it was Nintendo's next handheld, and thus the prospect of a new Zelda game came with it (which it did with the arrival of PH).

I saved up about $200 for something online, but I didn't have a paypal account, so I couldn't get it. In the end, I just went to a nearby gamestop to buy one with the money i saved up. Much more worth it than what i was gonna spend it on. ;D

i bought mine coz i didnt knw bout psp at the time and thought hey wow a portable system with 3d graphics.....and it was great for a little while....once i finished zelda and final fantasy III there were no good games left to play

I was at a car boot sale and the guy said Ł80 for ds lite and 2 games of my choice.
