DS has the type of game that I like. lots of nice RPGs and classics to continue the GBA

I wanted one since I saw it in a display in the store. But I couldn't "justify" getting a DS at the time, so I waited several months... Probably longer, really. I forget the DS timeline. >_>;I liked the potential the DS had for games. All the interactive things you'd be able to do with the stylus. I waited until I was very excited about Harvest Moon, Phoenix Wright and a few other games... I wasn't really excited about most first generation DS games. They all seemed to be minigames I knew I'd get tired of pretty quickly.

Bought a DS because I saw how much my wife played and had fun with hers. Now I play more than she does. It also helps to pass the time in doctor's offices since I've had foot surgery.

I bought my DS because I wanted to venture into gaming, but not anything heavy; thus, the DS was the best choice, imo.And it's a good way to spend a boring day. Wastes time in a good way, in other words.

Well, almost everyone has them as they think it's cool, so my Parents bought one for me too!P.S I have a PSP too as it's cooler than the DS.

I got me a DS because I'm flying to Singapore in a week and i needed something to keep me occupied for that damn 12 hour flight! And i always thought there were damn good games for the Nintendo handhelds.

why do i buy a ds? i am just interested in the games that are coming out! i live through the Nintendo eras, so getting a DS is just a upgrade also, maybe.I play too much game when i am free from work...i will rather stay at home with my Wii/PS3/DS instead of going out for a drink. Sometimes my partner is angry at me because i play games too much, i wonder if some of you guys met such problems...

Very simple: I jumped into the bandwagon, aka, everyone else had one, so I needed to get one. Well, flashcarts make the DS much better anyway, lol.

I got one as a gift, but I wanted one for the Star Wars game Lethal Alliance. It looked like a fun game. Key word LOOKED. I couldn't get past the first actual boss for the DS. I re bought the game for the psp and it is easier. But also Nintendogs look really fun and yes it was cute. But hey i was yonger then.

Because it is nice and have many fun and cool games , the most important thing is actually I saw my boyfriend's sister playing 'cooking mama ' that makes me likes DS so much . On june , my boyfriend bought a DS for me , I was so touched .

ught a DS because my GBA was dying. Most of the buttons on it wouldn't work anymore or only worked half the time, so I decided to spend some extra money and get a DS instead of a SP.
