hmm i didnt really buy mine it was a birthday gift, but i got it because I actually wanted a gba but my friend decided to get me a ds lite instead.

Honestly I don't really know why I got one. I never ever play it because I never buy games for it. I'm notorious for buying a console but not buying games for it cause i'm so cheap!

i first brought one as i like to keep up with technology and get the new gadget as soon as it comes out. I got bored of it so sold it then brought a DSi for my mom and got hooked on it again so have gone out and brought another one this time for keeps!

I bought mine at walmartI'm curious as to why you all bought a DS, please be specificas to what made you buy it.
I also forgot to say i bought it like three tiimes there and once at gamecrazyAnd sold one at game crazyI bought mine at walmart

Because it's a very innovative console. Great touch screen functions. But really, it's because it's Nintendo and with games like Mario, I simply couldn't refuse the DS.

I bought one awhile back to connect with some friends at school that had some. I got one so i could sit in class and play games on it with my friends that were across the room.

I bought a DSi, because it would allow me to play AAC files without extensive hacking knowledge. Plus the camera function is kinda nice, but the gaming is the main point.

my son wanted the ds and i'm started to play with it also, mainly braintraining, mahjong, sudoku, that kind of games

main reason i bought it was because i love brainteasers and stuff like that and the ds looked like it had things i could use while on the go

Just before I got my DS I got a Flash device for my GBA that came with a DS part. After I got it working on my GBA and tested it on a friend's DS I got my own since I could get free games.

My GBA SP was getting kinda bland and plus the DS had Wi-Fi which is pretty much why I wanted it and plus i knew there would be some sort of H4X coming for it.

Hi.I bought a DS because i'm travelling a lot for my job. I first bought a PSP for some RPG's games and i need some more 'fun game' like Mario's series or anothers games. now, i'm very happy with my NDS and the game's choice !

I bought the DS because I wanted to play Nintendo games. I missed playing the Mario games I had as a kid. And Nintendo games tend to be more happy whereas a lot of PS2 games I have tend to be dark and bloody.

I always wanted the DS, seemed to have alot of games that looked interesting. Another reason is because sometimes, I don't have hrs to play, but i wanna play something, so the ds seemed like a nice handheld to get some quick plays from. The biggest reason that I bought it was because my brother's friend traded it to me for 2 games that ended up clostin me $40 altogether.

I bought a DS mainly to play while I was out, and had nothing else better to do. Also I knew Pokemon would come out for it, and it's probably one of my favorite DS games

I bought mine the exact day The Legend of Zelda: Phantom Hourglass came out so i got a DS Lite and the zelda game and i'm sooooooo excited for Spirit Tracks!!!!!

I was brought my DS but i really wanted it. I loved the older nintendo hand helds and they used to keep me amused for hours and hours at a time. When i went to uni my mum thought it would be a good ide to buy me one to keep me in some nights.... i must say, it worked

I bought my DS because many games from then were being made all for DS, so with a GBA with all games already completed i was kinda late if i didnt buy a DS was like boring ... already done this game, not fun anymore <.<, and on DS everything is much more better graphically mainly than GBA
