I got it because I wanted to play some new games while traveling. LOZ: Link to the past isn't particularly thrilling if you've done it 3 times. =\

although the psp is very high powered, the ds is cheaper, more durable and last longer, the psp breaks so easily if you drop it, not to mention the battery life is really long on a ds.

In 2004, I was already hooked on video games and when I heard about the DS being so innovative I had to have it. I stood in Walmart and got mine on the first day because I was so excited. I got my DS Lite because I thought it looked really cool and I already loved my DS.

It supports single cartridge multiplayer games and it's cheaper than a PSP.The touch screen is also nice and it's got Pictochat, which is endlessly amusing with the right people. Also, my friend got one and I wanted to be able to play against them.

Worse and worse games kept coming out for the GBASP, and the DS was more appealing than the PSP, with and this is beacuse: I was dying for the new advanced wars game, and then it was on the DS and not the SP so i had to get it, then i heard of TLOZ: phantom hourglass and i had to get it, and maybe some other cool games along the way like mario64

My SP 'broke' so I convinced my mom I would pay for most of it. Which my GBA started to work agian this summer....For last summer I dropped it while a GBC game was in and it was stuck in GBC mode and couldn't play GBA games.

why i bought a ds? because it had a microphone and a touch screen... and also because the ds was cheaper than the psp... but when i think about it i really should have bought a psp instead of the ds because they had alot more games i would like to play, the only game that satisfies me on the ds is "lost in blue" which pretty much uses all of the ds features properly unlike lunar genesis where the mic is only used to run away from monsters by blowing into it... > : (

i have both ds and psp.. after doing some comparison.. although ds lacks the graphical power it has a lot more to offer than psp coz of the interactivity it features.. ds has a mic and touchscreen and not forgetting backward compatible(plays gba games). and also..nintendo is known for producing quality games. i always look up to super mario bros since its glorious nes days.
