1. It's an upgrade to the Game Boy Advance.2. To me, puzzle games are more fun when they're portable. Take Tetris and Meteos for instance.3. We were promised lots of good RPGs like Final Fantasy III.

A lot of people disappointed with that console...it's just too expensive. Plus it just does not have any good games. Most of the good ones were at launch as well. Sony was not able to keep up.

I got a DS as a present. Reason I kept it was b/c I have been getting increasingly tired of the same old crap coming out on most consoles and PC's. Plus I never had a GB so missed out on a lot of tactics, strategy, and old school RPG games. Really Enjoying the change.

I travel really a lot, so when GBA SP was released, I bought one as soon I got enough money. When DS got a good price here, it was a natural evolution

Here goes a long explanation:Between the PSP and the DS, the Ds was chosen becaaaause:- The PSP sux, i tought it was going to have cool games but it was mere CRAP, i changed it for the DS and 5 catridges for it...- The DS is way more fun for puzzle and IQ type games.- The DS has more durability, both screens are protected by the DS, the PSP screen is fragile and weak and you have to spend extra cash to get an accesory for protecting that crap.- The DS batterie is so damn durable! I swear i havent charget it and i've played for three days night and day withouth rest!- The DS is cheaper- DS games are meant to be fun, not have cool looking graphics but crappy gameplay like the PSP- I could continue but im bored of saying, in resume, that the DS is better

I bought one solely for the games that are marketed for this awesome handheld which proved to be technology-wised because of the touch screen.

If that did happen then basically they're copying Nintendo's idea.

I First bought a DS mainly for the games. I didn't want one at first because I felt the Stylus and Two Screens was a horrid idea. (Until I played and believed) Then once more games came along, I had to pick one up and loved it.Now, I got the DS Lite because it improves on almost everything the Old DS had.
