Best thing is getting to use unsecured networks to get online, you'd think more people secure their routers but no... lucky for them I'm not an evil hacker, or am I *shifty eyes*.

Well, it serves them right for not reading up on internet security and precautions. Firmware is just about impossible to crack through these days. What grinds my gears is that Star Bucks charges 9.99 for a WiFi day pass when other locations have free WiFi. I leach off of a hotel's server to do all of my torrenting.

I'm wondering how many of you have iPods, the new trendy mp3 players.I sure do, those things are great! *listens to it*

I personally think that I-pods are a waste of money. I use this older Samsung (flash) player ( Samsung YP-U1Q) in my car. http://www.amazon.co...r/dp/B000E9Q1CSYou can drag Mp3 files to it like it was a normal drive and it has to be one of the better budget players. I don't have to worry about loosing the thing, and it has really crisp sound quality. There is a whole new range by Samsung which are probably equally nice. For when I am away from a computer and want to be able to use batteries I have a similarly priced Creative one, which takes one aaa battery which lasts for ages. (Not much use having an ipod away from your computer unless you want to buy adaptors etc etc).Finally. I-tunes is a sack of donkey vomit. Totally unnecessary and a pain-in-the-ass. (See comment about drag/drop).Use Cdex to rip Cds and hey presto. http://sourceforge.n...rojects/cdexos/In short. I have used an ipod *(borrowed) many times, and think the only real reason to use it is the sexy touch-roller-thing which when all said and done isn't worth the extra 80 pounds / 160 dollars / 130 euro. Don't believe the hype.

I think its a waste of money and valuable resources. This is why I have a PocketPC and a SanDisk Sansa e200.

Yes, it's a pink 2GB iPod Mini. But as I tell everyone else, I have a hot pink wireless controler, if it works I can deal with pink.

Never have, never will. You woulfn't believe how many restrictions, DRM, and other crap they hide in that servant of the devil. Apple even specifically takes meaures to ban people who don't use their pre-loaded OS. Which is total bull. So I stick to my Zune. Sure, Microsoft is a money-grabbing beast, but at least they're up front about it.

No way would i get an iPod. That whole thing of converting the formatt t itunes or whatever would drive me insane. I have enough trouble ripping audio CDs without apple telling me that it needs to be imusic. I also heard the battery life is terrible and it needs to be replaced every year. Although I do admit that they are very pretty. But i'll stick with my Creative Zen. (I tend to drop things and this seems unbreakable :D )

I rather enjoy my my old little iPod. It was given to me by my sister and I like to use it when I'm walking to class or running. Sometimes I put it in my ears and just go for a walk, listening to some of my favorite music.
