I don't know why, but I just like the idea of a magical boomarang that you can control with your mind, it just seems... awesome!

the master sword was always tied to your life points. so you last it most of the time. the boomerrange was a good long dist weapon.

I like the hookshot. It's not great for offensive, but it drags the enemy over so that you can use another weapon on it. It's good in that way.

I really like the hookshot because you can freeze monsters and if my memory is good, you can get items from long reach.

Master sword is good but Magic Boomerang was cooler since you can control it anywhere almost, imagine if that were to happen in Ocarina of time, pretty easy to kill everyone. It'll be like the Slayer in Perfect dark lol

I know that the master sword is the best zelda weapon but SSBM is one of my fav games and in that cage i use young link, While using young link i can cripple most defenses to then finish them off with the small by using the magic boomerarng
