The fourth game is the newest and the most creative one out of all! The grphics are top notch and the battles are eeries but full of action! I just wish there would be more informations about the Umbrella corporation in upcoming games...

RE 1 was the best!once more i recall that the graphics dont make good a game, the suspense of the first game makes it the best , after the others resident evil werent that scary and hard.RE 2 was easy, RE3 was a walk in the park RE CV just too much walking RE 4 was just.... more of a shooting game, Obscure beat it up on the scary game category.so once you start playing sequels you already knwo what to expect of a game, like watching a terror movie for second time...

I love the first one (the first time you see the dogs crashing through the window is utter genius), but Resident Evil 4 really took the series to a new level. Finally...decent controls! So, RE4 for me.

How can anything be better than 4? It did everything the other games did, but it did it better and then some. Could you do suplexes on zombies in RE:CV? No. You could chop at their legs while they chomped on your neck, but other than that, you had to rely on a not-so-reliable aiming system. RE4 takes care of the aiming issue by moving the camera behind you and allowing you to aim yourself. People complaing that it's not FPS enough, which is nothing more than an excuse for saying "I suck at games."

I've only played a couple of the resident evil games (Resident evil 0, and Resident evil 4), but they were both an amazing experience. I did watch a video on youtube of someone playing Resident evil 3: Nemesis, and that game also looks pretty darn intriguing.

resident evil rules all of the games are really good and the gameplay in some of the new ones is fantastic

RE4 =)I can't resist those intense outdoor/indoor environments. The shooting system feels really good too.

Resident Evil 1,2 and 4 all hold places in my heart.Resident Evil 1: The original scary game I played, when those dogs jumped through the window... hohohoho!RE2: Zed's in the city, apart from the dodgy crossbow gun, this game gave me the best zombie-filled dreams of my lifeRE4: the graphics, the gameplay, the jump from set angled gaming to over-the-shoulder camera made this the reason I got a gamecube

my fav would be resident evil 4 with the new camera angle, but for challenges, i would say re1 due to mad load of challenges n multiple popping enemies out of nowhere

Storyline wise: Resident Evil 2. I love Ada.My favorite character is Jill from RE3.She fights back more than any of the other characters have ever done.Maybe except RE4
