hockeyman12599 i agree with you to every extent. If there was no GTA then probly we wouldnt have dumb donkey pollotitions trying to controll the video game market. But its made now and its causing problems for every one. Ok alot of people like it but i think its causing tomany pronlems to counteract the injoyment that it causes

Yea but that doesn't matter to the company because they have kids that consistensly buy the game because the lazy donkey parents don't pay attention to what their kids are doing.hockeyman12599 i agree with you to every extent. GTA is a cool game, it is not pointless because it also has a story. You just dont go around stealing cars, killing people, and running over them. For the people who just play around thats why u think its pointless. But for the those who ACTUALLY play the story and go through with it, then its fun to play.

Id rather play a game that has a point =D and isnt meaningless.. Sure. Stealing a car or killing random people is fun.. for like the first hour.. But then i start to get bored of it.. and then ill go and sell the game. IMO only people who like GTA are the kids who can stand pointless games of the pointless hours of pointless things to do =DThe only good gta was vice city.

Are you an idiot or something. It wasn't GTA that got the government controlling videogames. It was Mortal Kombat. And GTA doesn't have to be violent. You don't have to kill that many people. Only a few minor characters here and there, if you decide to go crazy and slaughter everyone you see you should blame yourself not the game. And Kieoske OMG there is a point to GTA games if you ever go on the mission and find out the story. as a said above if you go crazy and kill everything don't blame the game blame yourself.

I'll tell ya this right now man;If I wasn't on that game at least once a week, I'd be out killin those damn police myself! lol come on guys, all this game is, is a stress releiver for alot of people...they need to lay off of it and let it flyp.s. The guy above me proves a VERY VALID POINT!!

playing gta by urself is boring its always fun to go on a rampage with ur friends over laughing at the funny glitches/ things (doing a triple black flip in a car and landing in water

GTA:SA is a good game, but the story has a considerable hole: you are framed for murder in the beginning and... nothing. It has nothing to do with the game. If you were framed, the cops would arrest you, and there's nothing a street cop like Tenpenny could do to save you.And the missions are a lot more overexaggarated than in Vice City. Raid an aircraft carrier and steal a Harrier and get out alive? Come on. Or sneaking in a heavily guarded military base and blasting dozens of soldiers in the process. At least Vice city has small scale missions, like a bank heist or get a dude out of jail.

i love GTA SA, but i agree with the guy who said that the 80's music in the Vice City Soundtrack was better. And those who say that GTA makes parents to be against videogames are quite correct. It depends on the parents. My mom finds GTA funny, stealing cars, hitting people and stuff like that. My father thinks it will make me a gangster 
but one thing i don't like.. is to search for all the tags, snapshots, and oysters. i mean, it is a bit pointless and boring. The "long" missions, are sometimes too annoying, but are great.

Thanks alot Hot coffee........Now videogames are getting banned...........Government found out that different companys have been paying the ESRB company to lower the ratings. God....it's things like this that gives videogames a bad name.....But GTA is just a game to get away from reality....

They are overrated, just like any other popular game like FF, Madden, Zelda and others. It's just how people want to see it as. They might think GTA is freakin' awesome, but they hate Madden, even though millions of people play that too.Anyways, the rating system wasn't really started until a game called "Night Trap" on the Sega CD was released, but Mortal Kombat did start the debate about games being violent.

Grand Theft Auto is a good game because you dont really have to follow a storyline or anything you can do anything you want to.. i played GTA for a few weeks with just cheats not doin anything so i could explore everything

it is a good game a bit pointless and repetative in places but still good, i think its the freedom to do in the game what you dare do in real life, that makes it so popular.
