I do not like it myself, seems a bit odd to me. I prefer RPG's myself =)

Haha. This is the game where you can do almost anything you wanted. Those are the things that you cannot do in real life.

It's one of the best games ever. (I mean GTA3, Vice City and San Andreas then...)If you don't feel like following the story line for a time you can just go and cruise the city or shoot people. You can steal a tank and cause mayhem in the city. You can go up on a roof and be a sniper. You can play firefighter missions, police missions, seek packages. etc.. etc... I love it. Can't wait for GTA4!!!

ahahaha, i totally agreeDude you get to run over people then when an ambulance comes you get to kill the medics and then crash the ambulance then kill the fireman that come and then take their truck. What's not to love about that?

GTA is a good game cos you get to do what ever you want. there are very little restrictions

most people love GTA because it is one of the few games where you can really be a bad guy and fully explore that world. add the that the "do anything-go anywhere" that makes almost all sandbox games so fun, and you have a winner

Because i can get so addictive with the story plot and the cars, guns and action. It's awesome especially San Andreas that was probably the best of all the GTA games so far, i would think. I haven't played Liberty City Stories, but i would that is not bad aswell.

When GTA III came out on the PS 2 it was the funniest game ever but I soon tired of it. The worst thing about it is the saving you have to start a mission all over again if you get killed they should allow you to save whenever you want.

GTA is sooooo goooood!I never get tired of playing it!Because u can do so many things kill people, drive really fast cars/bikes, pick up hookers, buy properties, pimp ur cars, change clothes, buy clothes, run away from extremely stupid cops 
AND OFFCOURSE THE CHEATSI hope the AI is better in GTAIV though!

true you can take out some anger issues on it but in the end its so dumb. i played the first one and then thats it done finito ill be happy with my REAL rpgs

Gta combines all the other games on all consoles into one huge free roaming party its truly the best game out there

i don't love GTA, i think it sucks. Its so boring all u do is go around killing stuff and the storyline isn't all that great either.

perhaps teh crazy killing of civilians and the massive amount of guns and the storyline are what makes gta so fun. I like the killing part of the ppl and doing the missions
