Im not a fan of the games, and i also dont understand why theyre so popular, so thanks for creating this topic. Hopefully i can take something from this.I just cant see why its popular

Yeah, I agree with you. GTA is a good series, but it's way overrated. I think the Max Payne series is way better than it.

^ LOL! Yea pretty fun stuff you get to doDude you get to run over people then when an ambulance comes you get to kill the medics and then crash the ambulance then kill the fireman that come and then take their truck. What's not to love about that?
But really, after a while it just gets boring. I only play it mainly to complete the storyline, after that maybe collect a few of the miscellanious stuff in the game. But really after all that, the game just loses its appeal to me...

It's just that you get to kill people, and cause havoc throughout the city with any consequences. You can't do that in real life.

It's a really cool game to play when you first get your hands on it. But after soome time, you get bored of all the killing and all that. I like GTA though. Maybe because the only time i get to play them is when I visit friends. (I don't have it anymore)

The only GTA I liked was 3 after that they all got repetitive and boring.

Yeah I'm really not a fan of this series either... I find the graphics to be horrible... the gameplay to be lacking... aiming is terrible (PS2 versions only that I'm aware of) and the storyline just doesn't appeal to me... and story is a huge selling point for me... I also don't really see why being able to kill people randomly and take their money is such a fun thing... there's no point to it...

Heres the deal when GTA 3 came out I was absolutly blown away same with Vice city but by the time San andreas came out I had already played the first two to death and I MEAN DEAD so there just isn't enough new stuff to keep me interested going on a rampage is only fun for so long.BUT even though I dont like them that much I do think it is amazing what they have been able to do with the game.

I got bored with GTA III pretty fast. As for San Andreas, I have never been tempted to play as an obnoxious hood. Does not appeal to me in the least. The gameplay mechanic is a good one though - but not in the universe they set it in...... for me anyway.

i love gta cause the game's so flexible...it's full on sandbox...you can get max stars...you can go do random stunts...w/e...and that is why GTA kicks donkey!

here is my fast judgement of grant thef auto san andreas+huge world, graphigs, many vehciles, many weapons, lots of missions skills/strenghs side questes / work, many clothes,radio.-it is sick you can go to kill 1 000 000 cops and you are not dead, un realistical, cars blow with gun bullet to gas tank i give pure 9

Whats not to love about GTA is the question. If it doesn't suit you then fine. But there's many things to like about it. Basically, your in this world, and you can do whatever you want, buy houses, car jack, do mad stunts, even pay for srtip dances..the atmosphere is awesome especially in Vice City.
