I LOVE CS but when i came in to cs( i play cz) everyone HAS HACKS and runined my fun i mean wtf......and now i dont play cause iam tired of hack battles

It started as a really great FPS game, and i guess kept its reputation. It is still a really awsome game for me. ITs cool, intense shooting action, playing with friends and combines with strategy make the game one of the best!

It's so popular because those of us who have been playing since 1.4 are either trying to relive our glory days in the game, or are dying for the attention we get from new players who claim we are "hacking".

1.4? Pfft, 1.5 was the best! j/kI have to admit though, the sheer number of hacks these days is unbelievable. The fact that Valve doesn't do anything about them is just evidence of the poor quality of their games. (Comon Valve, why don't you just team up with Punkbuster and then call it 1.7?)

it is an Addictive gamei play BF2 more often then CSand BF2 is better thn CS is some waysBut even when i am playing BF2 i always have a major Urge to play CSmainly bcoz of the great maps and Mods that are placed on it

It's very much to what Tactical Ops did in UT and UT2004. It's the maps and the gameplay that rule.

i love Counterstrike, i thinks its so popular cause it has great maps, most rooms dont have respwan straighaway (which i think ruins it, it makes it less realistic n totally just one for -all killing spree) it has a good choice of outfits and guns and is good for teamplay, u can go on and off whenever u want!

it has a selection feature and the buying feature, unlike most games, so you can buy whatever weapon you want, instead of being assigned it or picking it up.

Counter strike is popular because it's so action packed and people just want to look cool talking about killing and things like that. Personally, i like counter strike but it gets boring too quick.
