Auron was cool, but Cloud was the main character of FF VII, and people tend to get attached to the main character moreso than others, so Auron will probably be outdone for most people.

cloud is much stronger and cooler than auron. anyway cloud's final sword is a bit stronger and cooler looking than auron's celestrial weapon: masamune

We should compair how strong they are at the beginning of each game. I admit auron is strong but cloud still has a slight edge. If you compare them at the end of both games then it would be cloud no hands down.

cloud is the man he got omnislash and final fantasy 7 is one of the bestest final fantasy games
