Wow this is a tough one, they both wield big 2-handed swords, and both have a slow paced style of fightingBut I would have to say Cloud, if all else fails he can head butt Auron in the head and poke out his eyes with his spiky hair

I think Auron is stronger than Cloud by far. Cloud has to use two hands to use his sword in FFVII. Auron on the otherhand, only uses ond hand to wield his sword.Generally Auron is cooler than Cloud, except for the hair.
