Hmmmm.... both are reknowned warriors from crazy techno-magical civilizations. Both went to ridiculous lengths to fulfill a promise/quest. Both have big swords and bigger fan clubs. Auron only has one thing that Cloud doesn't...a personality.

I like cloud better only coz he is the main character n love his move omnislash. But auron is my 3rd fav char just b4 sephiroth

i reckon cloud is better. cos cloud has been in ffvii, advent children, dirge of cerberus, kingdom hearts 1 and 2, and crisis core.auron has been in ffx and kingdom hearts 2. you only hear his voice in ffx2

I'd have to go with Auron, simply because if the two were to fight, Auron would be the more ruthless of the two. People might not agree, but Cloud is a little too merciful for a 1 on 1 fight, unless its against Sephiroth.

Cloud is so much cooler than Auron. His sword is always a little bit bigger making him cooler.

Auron is the man! You can't beat him really. I mean, Cloud is okay, but I dislike the tape stuff around his sword. Small reason I know, but thats only one of them. Auron has cool characteristics, and he has mean as glasses.

I like Auron more than Cloud, really. Every time Cloud started to be cool, he'd just end up doing or saying something stupid. "For example the 'Let's Mosey' towards the end of the game."Now if it was a choice between auron or sephiroth, I'd have chosen sephiroth in a heartbeat.
