Cloud would pwn Auron because Cloud beat Sephiroth twice and Sephiroth pwns Auron and Sin.Sephiroths final form would beat Sin and could killed Sephiroth's final form, so Cloud would win.

Auron's cooler, I mean he has a bottle of sake on his waist and that's the coolest thing ever. He's a ronin sswordsman while Cloud is just a guy who has trippy dreams and has a big sword.

Auron is the clear winer coz he has a bigger sword and is a piece of bacon (see other topic) and the bloacky grphics of FFVII stops cloud from doing much damage

They're both really awesome, but Cloud's sword is like..eight feet long and like..4895723904857 pounds. -_-' Auron's sword is huge too, but not as huge as CLoud's. First time I saw Cloud's sword I was just..wondering how strong he must be.

Auron is really cool, although his plot ending (as well as all of FFX) is another crappy dues ex machina... maybe thats where they got the word machina, they saw that their entire story depended on them and wanted to put in an inside joke.

I would say I'm surprised that Cloud's winning, but then again I realised that there are way too many FF7 fan boys out there who can't see that there are way better games out there. Anyways, that aside, I'd say based on their abilities and character throughout their respective games, Auron would definetly win. For one thing, he's already dead, so there isn't much Cloud can do. And for another thing, Auron isn't really fazed by anything that comes his way.

Actually, I think that Auron and Sephiroth are a more closer comparison, but whatever. Cloud beats Auron though, as Auron can never match the aura of awesomeness that is Sephiroth.
