yu-gi-oh was an interesting card game...for a bit...then it just got lame...and i don't understand how those shows are still going...it's one-half lame talking...and one-half cheesy technology...

I never collected yu-gi-oh. But my buddy did. Actually one time I made a deck with his stuff and won a tournament that he brought me to. Pretty amazing. He was so P!$$ed. I am the King of Games. What can I say? Actually I played alot of Pokemon and Magic at the time. So I was in practice. I don't hate it. I'm only angry because the cartoon apparantly changed.

My brother got me started into card games by playing Magic: The gathering .. around the 5th Edition.. THen after a couple years pokemon came in.. and i started to collect that because everyone was doing it .. .then after a year of the i gave that up... and gave my cards away.. Then i picked up yu gi oh for the first time and im like.. .eh.... Magic rip off.. but i played it for a lil while just to say that i did... got tired of it.. but everynow and then my neighbor comes over.. and plays me with his cards.. i just make a new deck outta his spare cards and whoop his azz... so theres no fun init for me anymore.......

I dunno about anything else but the abridged series in Youtube is pretty funny.They've dubbed and edited the show so it's even more ridiculous than the original(?) and it's pretty well done.I haven't actually seen the original show though

I dont get how a peice of silver cardboard is worth $100 , poor people all their time and energy into something that doesent benifit themselves at all.

well, a few pieces of silver cardboard from magic the gathering are worth $1000...however, it seems like I'm the only one here who likes YGO...First, the game's not dumb, of course, it's not MTG, but it's way above Pokemon trading cards, Duel Masters, and all the crappy new TCGs (like for example Neopets, OMG)...however people overlook it because you see kids playing it in your school, and probably none of them is really a good player; yu-gi-oh is very strategic, in fact, it's become so strategic that playing it serious isn't fun...However if you wish to hate it barely knowing it, do as you wish, it's not like you're gonna find me playing and and pummel me (mostly because I only playED in my GBA emulator)...I dont get how a peice of silver cardboard is worth $100 , poor people all their time and energy into something that doesent benifit themselves at all.

Yu-Gi-Oh is way outdated and crap anyway. I hate the way even the strongest card can be beaten with weird card tactics. And they go too far on the extreme legend super duper mega excelsor monsters that can never be beaten except by that guy.

Its not that I hate Yu-gi-oh, its just the card games, and like this silly obsesshion for tradeing gameing ...ect. But mabe its because I'm some High school person who looks down on thouse sorts of things.
