I was extremely addicited to Yu-Gi-Oh a few years back when I was still in my geeky cartoonish period. I spent over $100 collecting the cards. Good times.

Hating it's a bit strong. I just can't enjoy watching it, and the massive amount of threads 'bout Yu-Gi-Oh games's a bit annoying, but all by all, no real reason for hating it. Just'm not fond of it.

At my local mall (Pacific Mall) they have all these guys of all races gathering playing YuGiOh in this card shop and it grosses me out how these little punks think they're so cool -_-|You even see 40 year olds getting off on their lunch break to fight these kids (with cards, not fist fighting which would be creepy)And the show, omg, "believe in the cards" wtf is that? YuGiOh: I believe in the cards *gets the one that turns the battle from a loss to a win*Opponent: ummm I'll believe too *gets the card to turn it around again**continues for 10 episodes*YuGiOh: You see I am victorious because the show is named after me!

A young child's psychology is different. Yu-Gi-Oh immensely appeals to them. I remember when I couldn't wait to go to bed so then the day would end and tommorow morning would arrive faster so I could watch a new episode of the series. Then after about an hour after the episode where all the kids including me, would regularly eat breakfast and then all of us would swarm outside with our cards urging to duel and discuss the new episode. Beautiful memory, even though it looks really stupid now. Cycle of life.This is my kind of topic. I absoloutly despise Yu-Gi-Oh!
