i totally agree, i liked the n64 version so much better, i also dont like the whole double dash concept, its so unnesisary and it limits the amount of CPUs you can race in the tournament modes. But playing it with your friends is slightly more fun, i dont know why, maybe cus it just looks coolerps the yoshi level on N64 was the best level ever!If you only play it alone it kinda gets boring after a while, but with some friends its great to play tournaments ;PAlthough I do find the battle stages boring compared to the n64 ones.

this game is really funy and if you play it with 4 players you will have a lot of fun it is a endless fun maker =)

MKDD is a cool game. The AI is very smart sometimes at an unfair advantage. In my opinion the game has good quality and to the contrary of other replies ive scanned through, the game doesn't get boring for me!

playing it by yourself can be terribly boring, especially once uve unlocked everything but with friends it can be quite fun

It's a really good game, one time me and my friend made a file on his memory card and beat it in two days! That was such a great game. I hope they make a Mario Kart game for the that is just as good as Mario Kart Double Dash.

if you like mario, and you like racing...its pretty funit's really easy to beat (took me like a week) but its multiplayer is amazing...with two people per kartracing games in my opinion though can get kinda repetitive over time...so its more of a occasional party game

For races with friends I use Boo and Piranha but for Bombing matches i use Toad and Koopa
