I used to play Counter Strike online a lot, but got tired of all the cheaters and whiners. Man, if somebody has a shield or an auto-sniper, don't wine, don't gripe, JUST TEAM UP AND KILL THEM. Ahem. Nowadays I just play Condition Zero.

i have not found a more entertaining FPS for multiplayer play on the PC. this is especially true for LAN games when you know the people you're playing.. it's awesome.

Cs is a good game, but if you play CSS you can never play CS again.CSS has better graphic, game play, sound, a better map!!!

cs is pretty sweet. it gets kinda boring after a couple months, but if u join a clan or are practicing to join one or go pro, its so fun. i only play it nowadays to take off stress by blowing off ppl's heads

I dont know why the Counter strike can be one of best game.This is the borest game i played,not really good on imager,not really good on sound,not really good on Gun and no anythings i fell it good so why you said that good?!

I personally do not play it because I don't tend to like FPSs that much (Although I do play every once in a while) but many , MANY, of my friends still play CS and CSS. It's not that I don't like playing, it's rather that I like going through the proccess of getting the game, installing it, and setting it up, but once I am done with that I move on to another 'project'

There's something in CS that made it the number one first-person shooter in the world... Maybe its because its free upon purchasing Half-Life, great multiplayer fun, or low-end PC friendly?Its unbelievable to know that there are still people who plays this game for hours.A weird fact: Whenever I play half-life 1 on my pc for an hour, I experience headache. But if I play CS, no headaches occur on me even if I play for 3-4 hours.

Online is ridiculous, tried it once and i was being murdered every 2 seconds. Nothing really specail about this game though, its been done before

I still play CS 1.6, think it's great. I use the Warcraft 3 plugin; on my favorite CS server I have a level 9 Warden, level 10 Undead Scourge, level 10 Crypt Lord, and Level 7 Shadow Hunter. It rocks! CS is much more fun when you can teleport, explode, and all that jazz...

i play cs 1.6 more that css and i have both... i think 1.6 is not soo complex, therefor easier to play... btw, if you find a cs player named "AWRyder", its me ^_^

My friend is probably going to get me the game. I have played it with friends but not enough to get a feel for the game. My computer science prof plays it though. He's not great at it.
