What a strange choice. Either way, Dante is UBER-cheesy. His bad 80's one liners (Let's ROCK!!) (The Party's just getting started!!") just get REAL old after a while. Not to mention that the scene in DMC3 where he's playing the guitar is one of the cheesiest scenes in a game in history. Mega Man is cool, collected and just smashes enemies. I'll vote for him.Stevo

That's True.. But, Dante also has a lot of weapons.. If he had all the weapons from DMC1 to DMC4, his Devil Trigger.. Bye, bye, Megaman..Yea. Dante would win. But yet again mega man has a lot of weapons to choose from if you chose to compile all the attacks he gained over the years.

I'm pretty sure that Dante would win given the fact that he has a gun and Megaman has a gun but Dante has a sword as well lol. But if Dante goes into his demon form it would be over for Megaman

Why does everyone assume that Dante would instantly win? Mega Man is a frickin robot...with large amounts of weapons at his disposal. Dante is a dude with a sword. Even if he Devil Triggers he's just a demon with a sword. Why would a demon automatically be better than a robot? Robots are ultra powerful and can cause massive damage. Admit it...you all just pick Dante because he's pretty.Stevo

Remember what happens when Dante devil triggers on low hp? >_> I murdered the final boss with those energy beam/ray thingies. Dante would slaughter Mega Man. And no, it's not because I think Dante is "pretty;" Vergil > Dante > Mega Man. Hands down.

It's nearly impossible for Dante to die. He can take swords and other weapons straight through his heart and live. He wins simply for the fact he's overpowered.
