Im not big in to fighting games but i would say street fighter back on the snes. I was the first fighting game on a consle that I played and I loved it SSB was another fun one but I sucked at it although it was better for groups of people.

I used to rather big on fighting games until I got into simulators and racing games. Currently, one of the only fighting games I still play would have to be; Gundam Battle Assault 1 and 2. Not the GBA Advance version, its horrid.

I really like rumble roses for it's complelling story line, deep plot, exciting fighting and great music. yep, thats it. no other reason I can think of for rumble roses.

as will most people say, i'm a sucker for the Tekken series.That's really it, number 3 and the Tag Tournament. Ergheiz was allright, but nothing spectacular.

for misc. fighting, ssb melee. for regular i love soul calibur II. in terms of classic and overall best, my complete favorites are X-men vs Street fighter (arcade), Tekken 4, DOA3, and Ranma 1 & 3 for snes.
