why isn't simpsons dead yet?i mean its been like over 15 years.if a show can run that long you gotta watch it,

oops I accidently nulled my vote, and I would've been tied it up at 14 for the Simpsons!Anyway, the Simpsons is a brilliant show because of all the current events it brings into its satire, and I just don't see that same level of sophistication in Futurama. So the Simpsons gets my vote (if I had voted properly, anyway). There's a reason that show's been around forever =P

The Simpsons has been around forever and its lost its ability to satirise politics effectively. In fact, I haven't seen a decent satire of politics in the Simpsons for a long time.

Yea ok, you got me. I haven't watched the show in a while. =\ However, they also used to satire a lot of stuff other than politics, do they still do that?The Simpsons has been around forever and its lost its ability to satirise politics effectively. Personally I like both the Simpsons and Futurama; The Simpsons obviously predates Futurama since Futurama was created by Matt G in the later seasons of the Simpsons.Based on my experience of other people I can honestly say that the Simpsons is both a mix of adult humour (John Walters Episodes) and mainsteam comedy (Bring in the Clowns); whereas Futurama is not as well liked by adults compared to children!

Hard to choose love them both.But i think i go for futurama because i don't see the show so much (they don't show it anymore)but i can watch simpsons every day.Stosta

in my opinion both shows kinda lost their touch later on in the series ( especially simpsons ), but still i vote simpsons cause its a classic

Hmm, Game Over is new to me but Futurama gives Matt Groening and others an easier venue to play out the sillier things that they did in Simpsons but not as easily. I can't wait for Futurama to come back in the next year or so from what I've read onlineDon't get me wrong i love simpsons, but i think that futurama is much better. Wat do you think?Also wat do you think about that new series by the simpsons creators- Game Over?

Futurama is the only one of those two that I've seen regularly. I haven't seen the Simpsons recently but I like Futurama a lot better.

They both sort of have the same type of humor so I really have no preference for either one of the shows. I still like family guy because they are up on current events and make fun of the media in a ways, so I really don't care.

ummmm are they not made by the same person? They are very similar in content and humor. Comparing them is irrelevant because they are the same show in two different settings
