I've seen pretty much every episode of The Simpsons and Futurama, and I have to say Futurama is the better show, though Simpsons is still really good.

Futurama hands down. Simpsons is stale and has been for a while. Futurama makes me laugh hard.

I never really got into the Simpsons. It just always seemed kind of...dumb, to me. But I liked Futurama because it had interesting characters and kind of an on-going romance thing between Leela and Fry.

Well, both are very good, but The Simpsons can't be beat with anything. By far one of the best tv series ever, not only it always has offered tons of humour, but also it shows a side on the american culture that can't be shown in any other way, making you laugh about some very sinister things. The Simpsons are just unbeatable.

to me there pretty much the same show. But if i had to watch one on the last tv on earth i'd pick futurama. Hahaha zoidberg reminds me of meg on family guy.

i think futurama is way better although simpsons have been on tv longer but futurama has movies to make up for that

To be perfectly honest, Futurama is the intelligent man's Simpsons. If you know anything about math, physics, basic human anatomy, stephen hawkings, etc. then you know which is the superior series.

I agree The Simpsons is very funny. Dont get me wrong Futurama has humor, but in my opinion Simpsons is just outright funny, Thats why it has had over 7 seasons. GO SIMPSONS!!I stay with the simpsons

Actually I think Futurama is still ongoing right now and is at season 5

I have officially condemned Futurama, but I do not find those Simpson humans to be very entertaining. Except for Patti and Selma's pet iguana Jub Jub, she's a real piece of scale.

Futurama - The basis for the show has the opportunity for such interesting story line arcs, space is an endless interest with anything happening. The simpsons, though fantastic, is just running out of stories and it's just losing interest now, you can feel them losing the plot on stories which are just becoming shorter. It's disappointing that futurama got cancelled and had a half baked return

Both shows have their merits. The Simpsons started off a bit more serious, morals scattered around and a new type of humor. Futurama is wonderful for anyone with a small percentage of geek in them. Between the two though... Futurama has more of light hearted dirtied humor which stayed constant throughout (Great for those who don't like the potty humor of most of today's comedy) ... where as The Simpsons shifted more towards potty humor to keep with the changing audience before shifting back again. I put my vote in for Futurama, simply because I'm a sci fi lover and it's one of the few shows that makes dirty jokes in a fashion that doesn't rub me the wrong way.

Futurama is a lot funnier in my opinion... the Simpsons starts to get bring after they have replayed it for the 60th time... Plus the characters of futurama makes it better... and it has a good story line... It's sad when the dog dies though...
