well mine works fine for gameplay, but i cant save my pokemon silver game. "save file corrupted" speaking of which any advice that could let me back into saving it would be appreciated

well i dont have the original but i have the specal edition one that has a stronger resitant to water. the one with the pokemon as a red light thing. try ame stop to buy some gameboy games.

mine still works... i have 3 GBC's one of them the sound doesn't work.. but you can hear it if u put earphones in it

mine still works, although the speaker got damaged and need to plug in headphones, but everything works fine. Heck i even still kept my 1st NES console. Yep, working. Oh and, try ebay for gbc games, quite promising actually.

My family has 4 perfect condition game boy colours, all 4 are about 9 and a half years old. We have purple, translucent purple, green, and a teal coloured one. Well, actually the teal one got stolen cause my brother is a !@#$%^& idiot. My purple one's screen stopped working for a week or so, but I could still play most of the games with just sound, but soon the sreen started working again.Mine Is Sitting Right Next To My NGC And I Use It Whenever I Get The Urge To Play Pokémon Or Link's Awakening, But It Works Perfectly Fine...

My GBC works, it's green. (My favorite color. yay) A couple scratches on the back, but that's it. The weird thing about it is that it was given to me by a girl--that despises me now! Hah and she can never have it back. Even though I don't care about it. (Which is why I don't know where it is.)

I have an original big gray brick, it came with Link's awakening, I miss the fact that you could go out and by a handheld or console and not have to by a game before you could do anything with it.

i got a working gameboy color with about 30 or so still working games. I havent used it in about 5 years and last time i did use it was just to see if it was still working lol.

I only got a couple of surviving games and my GBC happens to be in one of my draws with a massive amount of bluetak stuck to the back of it but don't ask me how the hell it happened but I'm sure it still works

ya i got mine when it was new and it still works... i play pokemon red and silver on it all of the time. i had a teal one, but ended up selling it, so now i have my lime one left

I would still have mine if i hadn't lent it out to a friend of mine that i haven't seen since 7th grade. I got my GBC in 1st grade. at least i still have my GBA.

Mine still functions, somewhat. It has battery troubles, whether or not the batteries are new, it doesn't very effectively use power.

Ofcourse I have! I could never say good-bye to that nice, violet and transparent little thing. Well, it is quite big, but I still love it. Every now and then I actually play Zeldas awakening DX on it. I would have played Pokemon Red to, but I appear to have lost it:(

i played mine the other day. it was so weird, because it was slow and the sounds were so electronic. it just shows how far electronics have come in our lifetimes.
