lol come to think of it i actually do still have mines and it works. Though its kind of messed up (my little bro threw it across the room) you can see like balck lines running across it, but all that matter is that it still works right. =)

I don't know whether my GBC still works or not. I know my N64 stopped working after around five years, though, so I don't have too much confidence in my GBC...

i had one. sold it away a long time ago for a GbA. i see it at used game stores every once in awhile. I miss it. Now that I think about it, I need to get one. I have old gba games I cant play without it. more importantly, I cant play my pokemon gold without it :xX

I got mine when I was about 5. :D I still have it with a broken battery cover and no batteries but who cares? I have a adapter OR as a HAXOR would say (something like a haxor? or L33T?), "I HAS TEH ADAPTOR!" XD It's green by the way.P.S. To the creator of this topic. You got your GBC when I was born. The year of course. Dunno about date.

Yes i have my GBC intact and working. Its a LITTLE damaged when I spilled fruit juice on it 5 yrs ago. The sound doesn't work. Also its a little scratched. And I lost the battery cover (wth is it with us gamers and those battery covers? srsly). But the point is it still works. And guess what? It is a limited edition yellow pokemon one! the front bit, between the D-Pad and A B buttons says "Pokemon", the corners of the black screen bit have different pokemon like Pikachu and Jigglypuff, the red "Power" light is the center of a pokeball and the back is blue!btw the front is yellow. And to think i nearly lost it in town once... Pure luck it was still on that bench...

Actually, yes. The only thing that's broken is the sound. The headphone jack still works, so f I really wanted sound, I'd just plug in some headphones.

Mine still works, and I saw Metroid 2 in Gamestop for like $2 and i seriously considered buying it.Of course, the SP is generally better since it has electric power and a backlight. I play Pokemon Gold on that when I'm bored

Nah. I dont have a GBC any more. I sold it to get the GBA, the i got the SP, DS, and so on to the DSL. I have no doubt whoever has it (if it wasn't trashed) It still works. Its been a long time, but looking at your post the GBC is the one that is the most solid so far. SP Breaks, DSes break, GBAs fail, GBCs are good.
