I still have my blue GBC and it works very well.I also have the old Game Boy, the big one with the purple buttons ^^

Most everybody seems to share the trait of losing the back cover. I am one of them... but it still works fine! Nintendo really does build stuff to last... that's a point I never really noted before.

I got mine in 1998, and it still works. It's green, and missing the battery back. I have no games for it though.

Yep, it's pink and I use it to play my Game n Watch galleries. I also bought a white third-party face plate which I drew a little flower on and now use.

why buy the gbc when you can get an emulator one with link cable function? go to www.gbcemu.com, download the umulator, get the roms, unzip everything, and start playing. Best of all, its absolutely free.

My GBC works to the first game i got was fire emblem and I had my gameboy scine it first came out and it still works with [i]sound,high quality picture

I wish mine still worked, bought it at JCpennys long long time ago. Spend $100 or more on Tommy Hilfiger clothes (which isn't hard to do) and they sold you one for $20. It was yellow and had the tommy logo beneath the screen. It was nice, until eventually the screen started to get messed up and the colors went weird.

i was playing with my gbc just last night cause i was bored and too lazy to get my ds...i had the clear purple gbc...ahh the good ol days where everyone used to play pokemon...

yea, my gbc still works. it's a miracle tho. i dropped it in the pool, i dropped it on the ground, hell i dropped it wherever i felt like it.

I own an original GB the grey 1 that looks like a brick with tetris boxed still worksGBC boxed with back and works Artic White GBA perfect condition Black GBA SP and now a lovely DS + all still have the papers that nintendo shoved in the boxesNow thats dedication B)

I haf a working GBC myself... Just that the cartridges are not working, besides that, theres no big problem...(sarcasm). actually if u play it frequently, the gameboy is less likely to be spoilt. i even haf a GB wif me rite now.

My GBC is in pretty good condition. It's not missing anything, and I bought one of those Magnifier/Light thingies. So yeah. Does anyone play either of the Monster Rancher games for the GBC?
